Apes Hill Ladies team win the WCT 8-10 goal qualifiers at Virginia International Polo Club.

  Three (3) teams were entered with two days of play scheduled at Goose Creek Polo Field.  It was going to be a very competitive tournament with the team players all knowing each other except for the two West Indians, Savannah Hussey from Jamaica and Linda Williams on the Apes Hill team from Barbados.  They were joined by professional player and team favourite Julia Smith and Nicole  Watson. The Apes Hill/Huntington House Ladies High Goal team reached the finals of the Cirencester Park Ladies tournament and in a hard fought battle against Coombe Place, Apes Hill/Huntington House came away with another win of 6-5.5. There is only one more Ladies tournament being held at Beaufort Polo Club this weekend which The Barbados Tourism and Marketing Inc. is sponsoring at Beaurfort along with Apes Hill Polo Club, to decide the winner of the Victrix Ludorem.  There are some very good teams entered and this is going to be a tough weekend for our girls.
